School Leadership

Dr. Kristen Scott is a dedicated educational leader with a passion for fostering student success and community engagement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in History and Secondary Education from Iowa State University in 1993 and later obtained a Master of Science in Education Administration from the University of Kansas in 1998.

 

With extensive experience in education, Dr. Scott has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal in a large urban school district. She also served as part of the district’s leadership team, where she worked to enhance educational opportunities for all students as Director of English as a Second Language and Migrant Programs, and Executive Director of Middle Schools. 

 

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Scott pursued her Doctor of Education degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City to further her impact in the field. She remains dedicated to supporting educators, students, and families while continuing her career in the district she has proudly served throughout her professional journey.
