Free BIST Virtual Parenting Series

CAIR is offering a series of classes for parents and guardians through a partnership with the Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST). These training sessions are designed to help you manage your child’s virtual learning, provide ways you can support your child’s developing behavior skills, and increase consistency between home and school.

Roadmap to Reopening

We posted our reopen plan online so that you can see what the school environment will look like, and what health and safety measurements will be in place. Click here to read our Roadmap to Reopening.

Students Assistance Program Available!

The Student Assistance Program is currently available for students through New Directions Behavioral Health. The program can provide free services to students and families including up to three face-to-face short term counseling sessions, on-site crisis management, 24-hour toll-free phone assistance, and a health resource library.

New Visitor Management Software

Grandview C-4 will begin using the Raptor® Visitor Management system to improve campus safety for students and faculty on January 13, 2020, at Central Office and CAIR and by January 22, 2020, at all sites. The new ID card scanning system provides practically instant screening of visitors, contractors, and volunteers for sex offender status and custom alerts, such as custody orders. As a result, school officials have a more accurate headcount of who’s on campus in case of an emergency.
***Please make sure you bring your state or federal issued photo id when picking up or dropping off your student.

CAIR has a Library!

CAIR student, Ryan Woodrome, completed his Eagle Scout project at CAIR in May 2019.  Ryan took an unused classroom space upstairs and turned it into a school library complete with book donations from Cass County Public Library.

Ryan Woodrome is now an Eagle Scout with Troop 364 from Grandview.
